The dinner and the breakfast were so good that it would have been pointless to consider browsing about for an interesting meal; all you have to do is come out of your room and walk into the dining room for great service and pleasureful fare.

We dined at the Mirabelle Restaurant and would highly recommend dinner there. We cannot say enough about this hidden treasure and we will definitely be returning!

The quality, portion size and presentation of the chef's tasting menu was outstanding. The Mirabelle is highly recommended for those who enjoy true cuisine in a subdued, elegant setting while not breaking the bank.

Situated in a quiet, softly elegant inn, the Mirabelle serves fine cuisine with outstanding service, With only 9 tables the setting is intimate, comfortable and unhurried. The decor is European and unpretentious thus adding to the relaxed yet refined atmosphere.

This wonderful Inn deserves a try for anyone who has not stayed there. My partner and I will return with friends and family, guaranteed!

…we couldn't have asked for a more charming experience. Our room was cozy and warm with the fireplace and the breakfasts were scrumptious, along with the afternoon appetizers and wine. The location was perfect. Far away enough from street noise but easy walking distance to all the shops! We dined at the Mirabelle Restaurant and would highly recommend dinner there. We cannot say enough about this hidden treasure and we will definitely be returning!

For the second year in a row, my 'tween daughter and I have spent an enchanted two night stay at the Mirabelle Inn in Solvang. Our room was spacious, handsomely decorated and contained everything we could want for our vacation - from the incredibly luxurious, royal sized bed and fabulous spa tub, right down to the details of comfy robes and bed-time chocolate hearts and kisses.

The owner Brigitte and staff member Marc were so incredibly warm and gracious and helped us to plan our days with their recommendations and flawless directions. And of course, our mornings began with delicious breakfasts, which included the traditional Danish delicacy of aebleskivers, and the best Belgian waffles this side of the Atlantic. We popped into the common area living room for afternoon wine and cheese and sinfully delicious desserts where we met with some of the other delightful guests. At the end of our stay, we were happy, rested and determined to make this our annual Mother-Daughter getaway.

MEADOWLARK INN

Our review is overdue as we have stayed three times at the Meadowlark in the past two years. Each time the experience has been wonderful. We travel to Solvang with our dog and take one of the dog-friendly rooms with a kitchenette. Everything from check-in to check-out and in-between has been perfect for us. We enjoy the large grassy picnic area under the oak trees and the quiet atmosphere. Our rooms have always been just as described on the internet and fair-priced for the area. Breakfast is very good and there is a ranch market nearby where you can shop without going into town. You are set to visit Solvang, Los Olivos, Quicksilver Ranch, wineries and Los Padres National Forest from this location. Best of all might be the helpfulness of the staff. Dear Brigitte: We had a delightful long weekend at your Meadowlark and especially appreciate the extra effort you went to to keep us comfortable in the heat. We would like to write you and let you know what a wonderful weekend we had at the Meadowlark Inn! It was more than we ever expected! We found your information on your website. We believed we were going to a typical local hotel but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. We loved our Cabernet suite, which felt like the lovely country house we never had! We had more fun staying in our room, building campfires, eating s'mores, relaxing in the hot tub and sleeping in the hammock than we did in town during the day. We are looking forward to the day when we can return.

We just wanted to say thank you for all of your hospitality. The breakfast was delicious and the home-like feel was just what we needed. It felt like a trip back to childhood to be so well taken care of. Thank you for all that you do, and we will greatly recommend you to all of our friends.
